Trusting God with your Marriage

How do we, as wives, trust that our husbands are in our lives for our good?

I don’t have all the answers. What I do have is the experience of living in God’s Word through 50+ years of life married to Lee Jackson.

Yoked to this man, God has grown me and covered me. He has encouraged me and taught me to rely on His will and Word over my own. And with the benefit of time, I can look back and see how much God has provided in the middle of the two becoming one.

No matter where you are in your life, married, divorced, remarried, widowed, or not married, I believe God will give us insights that will strengthen His daughters in our walk through this mission field called earth.

One of the insights I gleaned from scripture, is that God tells us that our husbands are the priests of our household, that they are in that position to love and protect us. He also tells us to honor our husbands. I believe this is too hard without God. But when we trust God first, He is able to change our hearts. With our prayers for our husbands, He will change the hearts of our husbands.
